No offense Puck, but I don't think either of those players with Luongo get a deal done. If I'm GMGM, I'd need at least a good prospect and a 1st round pick if you give me Lou and one of Ballard/Booth.

yeah I agree in terms of talent swap. just trying to see how we would fit a $9.5 mill salary.
Kes is $5mill, but it would be a pretty tough job to convince me that Ovechkin is worth basically 2x Kesler.

also tough to pay a new guy $9.5m when our two home grown Art Ross winners are locked in at $6.1m long term. Again, trying to justify OV being 50% higher than the reigning scoring champion.
