Bout time they have a few breaks go their way. For all of the talk about how bad this month has been, and it's been bad, there have been so many that a hit here or an out there would have changed the outcome. They haven't been getting blown out.

Just find a way to make it through to the AS break in as good of shape as you can. Getting Felix back and getting Walker back will both add quite a bit. In fact Felix having this much time off should bode well for his arm going well into the rest of the season. He's never had this much of a break in his career. Knock a little rust off over the first start and get back to being Felix.

I guess I don't get that example you used... It's about winning series... Golden State did not do so, the Mariners did... In baseball, you want to win series because you're not going to win every game... Same with the NBA...

No it isn't when you already won the first two. So why not just forfeit and save your pitching for the next series? Losers think that way. Winners think and play for sweep. And then sweep again. It is a mentality. A mentality Mariners need to have but don't. A mentality Mariners fans need to have but most don't. One breeds from the other. Yes, winning EVERY series gets you to the playoffs but is that realistic? Hasn't been for Mariners.
