I realize Burfict has a reputation as dirty and Juju might be the youngest player in the league but that still can't be tolerated. Particularly with CTE awareness and the crackdown on those type of plays. You can't celebrate giving someone a concussion with an illegal hit. This should be a huge fine.

It's weird how much they focus on making fun of the Bengals.... I mean, they absolutely own the Bengals. And aside from 2012, they've won every game that had any sort of importance attached to it.

When the NFL decided to legalize group celebrations, I'm sure there was a lot of concern about sexual innuendo or potty humor. I'm guessing they didn't consider a celebration celebrating head injuries in the biggest game of the year.

I'm guessing the fans also missed the irony of giving standing ovation for a guy with a spinal problem and then giving a standing ovation for a guy that caused a head injury.

Yep.... We moved down to get an extra pick. Ended up taking Kirkpatrick and then getting Zeitler with our other first round pick that year. The extra pick was Brandon Thompson - Who never really panned out.

It's the folks on your board? Plenty of arguments with them over the last year or two.... The consensus opinion over there is that a) Burfict is an asshole that is dirty (no debate from anyone), and b) the Steelers would never hire such a guy. Well, I wouldn't say JuJu is a dirty player. He's just very cocky for a rookie and sometimes that's a bad thing, other times that's a good thing. I think in this instance he's being very arrogant. Can't say that he's a dirty player after one hit which, whether it was a cheap shot or blind side hit is debatable.

Well shit, given that your entire fanbase is butthurt by Burfict, you'd figure they wouldn't have much tolerance for a guy that celebrates the fact that he hurt another player. But, i guess because he's so young it doesn't matter.

FWIW - I'd take JuJu on my team any day. I'm a realist. I'm not going to pretend that all the guys that put on my favorite team's uniform are nice.

i think you're basically right. compared to us, he's a fairly young man. when I think back to my mind set at that age I did and said some stuff that was sort of dumb too. He probably thought it was a legit hit before the whole standing over him like Muhammad Ali thing. It's a spur of the moment thing.
