I'd stick with Hall. Cmac is amazing (duh), and Mason is a great consolation, but we just don't know what will happen when Cmac comes back. Mason has earned looks even then, I believe, and the Niners are playing for February, so it isn't inconceivable that Cmac isn't the 25 touch guy until at least the fantasy playoffs.

Hall got 18 against arguably the best defense in the league and their offense looked like shit for most of the game. Cmac could be just out 5 or 6 games and Mason is nice but Mason is not going to go for that consistently. I am keeping Hall

Out of principle I would not take the trade. As I hate lateral trades.

I’d probably throw in a counteroffer to improve your worst starting wr or te.

Mason is nice as a plug in, but he isnt CMC. In that offense, Aityuk may be the beneficiary in week 2. Kittle in week 3. Etc

If Jr. can sit on this offer until Sunday morning or whatever, that might be a telling factor. IF they put CMAC on IR, surely they'd do it before game time to utilize the roster spot. In which case, I wouldn't want to bank on Mason being the band aid for at minimum 4 more weeks. If they don't, surely that means he won't miss the next 2,3, 4, weeks and I'd be willing to roll with it to get CMAC for the long haul.

But there is a lot if unknown about Mason, to be fair. Did he simply take advantage of defense focusing too much on Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle who knew they wouldn't need to worry about CMAC? Maybe the Jets just suck vs the run this year? Maybe it was just a case of it being the first week and the Jets just weren't ready? I'd be willing to believe any or all of those before I would lay a bet that Jordan Mason is suddenly a 100 yards a game RB, no matter who's system he's in.

Even the thread is split, this feels like the ultimate even trade. I would say it is all about risk tolerance, but it is not like Hall has been the fountain of health either.

I personally would prefer Breece because late call running back having a big game is not uncommon, that running back continuing similar production when defenses start to prep for him is.

Waddle for Mason - decline

Jameson is on my bench now. Would you trade Jameson straight up for Mason? If not, I doubt he would take Likely.

I'm pretty sure I would, yes, and then IR or cut Hollywood, grab whatever the best WR available is. Hollywood, Brooks, now CMAC, that's a bunch of players that'll be out come the start of byes/additional injuries, and you ain't even through week2

Seasonal then I'd do the Mason for Waddle offer because Waddle is doing squat with Skylar Thompson at QB and you need a fill in for CMC and this injury to CMC could linger season long. Unless you can trade Waddle for a better RB then Mason do the deal.
