A 29-year CB with a exactly ONE good season on his resume doesn't scare off any of you guys?

Not even a chance that he's a fluke playing with one of the best front 7's in 2015?

There's definitely a chance. Giving a 29 year old zone corner an expensive long term contract is risky. All depends on the guaranteed money as usual.

Vita, I think the word you were looking for is "latter". "Later" works but not with the same poignancy as "latter". FYI for ya'

He's definitely a good CB but for these reasons along with his cost I wouldn't pursue him. He will kill our cap if not put a dent in it. We still have an offense to worry about.

No, those were actually climbing points retro!!!!

Thanks for the heads up brother! However, I'm sure if I cared enough to spell/grammar check my writing in any endeavor, I would do so...

In the future, please refrain from correcting me on such entries with future posts, as I've done so for you many times in the past....

In all fairness, we do have a pretty badass D-line ourselves who can disrupt the pass as well....Many have said Jenkins looked so good because our D gave opposing QB's among the least time to pass per attempt in the NFL. I think he would be a superstar in our D, but I just don't see us paying that much for him, unless Fisher REALLY is desparate and feels like he needs to win now...

Seems more and more like he'll be going to the Skins(or possibly the 9ers)...Should be interesting to see how it works out. For the price they'll have to pay, it will either be a complete disaster or an absolute homerun for them...

I do, and it's the later, giving up all your draft stock.

In 2010 we really couldn't trade down like they can now because the CBA rookie salary now affords it. So we were stuck, and we were going to pay that whether we picked an NFL unproven QB or DE.

So by default it's the later of your two choices primarily because then, we were stuck with choice A or B.
With the former of your two choices, Snisher chose to make the move. :tsk: :L:gaah:

The former only works out better one way, and one way only. And that's IF the Rams' No. 1 overall becomes the Rams' Franchise QB. He actually doesn't even need to be elite, just the Guy our team can rally around for years to come.

Gahl Dab it V-Mike I hope you're right on this! :hope:

I'm still waiting to find "that QB" that makes everyone around him play better! If there is such a thing. This team needs that! This team needs to hit a home run on draft day for a change! We don't need to add more players to our long BUST List! :L

signing him would remind me of when the eagles signed Nhamdi (sp). Had about 1 or 2 good years on Oakland then fell the fuck off a cliff. If he was 23yrs old shutting cats down then sure, but at 29...eh....

After seeing the contracts Norman and Jenkins got, It'll be tough to sign Johnson for much less...

We have him for next year...he can either get a good, long term contract now or test the market next year.

Another classic Redskins signing, guy has one good season, contract year of course and gets 51 million guaranteed. Glad we didn't get him.
