Jordan Hill done for the season

Disappointing for sure. Thinning depth on the D-Line could really cause problems down the stretch.

Man I want to say that's the 5th or 6th D-lineman put on IR this year. He has emerged for sure. We didn't have him in 1st Carolina game either but still a blow no doubt.

That's definitely some good news. Would be nice if we can avoid any OL injuries for just 3 more games.

I agree we should look into getting some OL and DL depth because right now I cant really name anyone that we can put behind kevin williams and tony mcdaniel. Williams was a late add on at the beginning of the season so imagine if he wasnt on the team? Going into the season we had mcdaniel, kevin williams, jesse williams, jordan hill, and brandon mebane and the 3 of the 5 are done for the rest of the year. I really am curious on who is gonna play behind them this weekend.

We'll probably see a lot more of Michael Bennett playing on the inside, plus we have a guy named David King that we signed about a month ago (when we released Alan Bradford) that is big enough to be a DT (though listed as a DE). He's played 3 games, has a tackle and a sack.

Don't be too surprised if the Hawks put in line that look a lot like Avril, Bennett, Williams/McDaniels, Schofield on passing downs.

brutal..... I know we point to wags getting back and kam healthy as the turning point of the year....but at about the same time Hill stepped in for bane and has played lights out. He is a huge reason this D turned the corner from good to elite again this year.

Well, we lose Hill and now Carolina has lost Star Lotulelei. This is the cost of doing business, and it always comes down to who is left after a long strenuous season. I like our chances regardless of these injuries, but a bummer for both players.

Not sure if Dobbs is healthy and can play the T spot.
Our coaches are smart guys. We may try some 3-4 alignments or a modification of that. We can play 4 LB's or have Bruce put his hand down swinging Bennet inside.
