Former Dolphins OT Jonathan Martin, who was on Carolina's roster, is retiring, as @RapSheet reported.

He was apparently on the Panthers. The 49ers dumped him, he didn't retire in SF. Harbaugh brought him to SF, and I was willing to give Martin a chance trusting Harbaugh's judgement but Martin was downright awful. He was a turnstile trying to pass block and couldn't run block worth a damn either
