John Wall Collapses In Tears After Emotional Post-Game Interview

Watch the clip and be sure to read the Washington Post piece about his relationship with that girl. What an awesome act of kindness and compassion by him. If you watched the game tonight, the Wizards forced 2 OTs to pull out the win and it was mostly because John Wall refused to lose. He pulled off some ridiculous moves to keep them in the game. So happy he got the win to pay his respects the way he wanted.

Yeah I saw the interview on sportscenter and it touched my heart.

I haven't watched a single game since the Sonics left to OKC but I found myself wanting to watch the highlights of Wall's game after seeing the interview. Powerful stuff

Wow, it's obvious he really connected with that little girl. Very sad that she passed. Awesome that he was able to make what little time she had a little better for her.

Class....pure class. Yesterday the NY Rangers had a 15 year old sign a one day contract, practice with the team and be out there in uniform for the anthem. Kid's a cancer survivor (bone cancer) and has seemed to beat it and is skating again.

Sometimes I guess we forget for every knucklehead in sports doing something dumb there's a whole bunch of class acts like Wall and teams that do so much to make sick kids life better. Even if it doesn't end the way we'd like it to
