I believe you are right...(I think it was you...???) when you said maybe BB wanted BOB last year but couldn't have him and he wasn't going to sign somebody long term when he knew BOB would be available this year.

I said that too and I firmly believe it. IF the Pats are good for the next few years(I believe they will be) this could end up being one of the craziest rebuilds ever. Lost the GOAT at QB as well as another bunch of coaches.

All good dude. I’d be surprised if I was the only one who thought that. It was pretty much public knowledge last year that BB was trying to get O’Brien, but that BOB was going to fulfill the remainder of his contract.

I actually assumed he was locked in at BAMA and Saban and BB had a chat and worked something out.
