Camp has been all of 2 days. Don't think you can claim anyone is having a great (or poor) camp just yet. Mbu being with the 1st team may say more about the rest of the talent we have at NT than about him doing great.

I will say it like this.

Lets hope this kid, of Taylor or Ion or some one other than Ziggy Hood can come out as a viable option at Nose. Ziggy is best served as a rotational DE in our defense, and we need some one to actually claim the position.

Having said that, I hope it doesnt end up another case of (insert player) got the starting position because no one else was capable.

man, if the defense can't crack the top 15 in major catergories, I'm starting to think a 4-3 would be a smart switch. This organization has tons of Defensive linemen, but they refuse to get a legit front 3.

So what do you do with all the LBers in that case? In the end they end up in the 4-3 70% of the time.

With very few under contract next year that's any easy move. Depth, cuts and FA.

There is actually a lot more involved but I will leave it at that. You can't just convert guys like Kerrigan, Smith, Murphy and Andersen into 4-3 LBers. They are stand up DEs.

I'd have no intention of converting Kerrigan, Smith, and Murphy. They would go back to their natural DE positions.
Anderson would be the only project. Compton, Brown and Foster would be OLB/ILB options if re-signed.
