3-Stall turned down 60mil,so the Pens traded him

4-he will get more money with the Canes

5-oh yeah on the trade the pens traded him where they would get the best deal for him,it was just luck he ended up on the same team as his brother

Like you mentioned earlier, GG, the Pens are one Crosby head shot away from being in a really tight spot. That isthe crazy thing about sports, you never really know.

yeah but you see according to the rest of these guys I don't know anything,,,to hear them talk I have trouble putting on my socks by myself

You do? I'm sorry to hear that. I know a little about multimedia, so perhaps I could make you an instructional video.

Wait.

You weren't serious?

Well, the offer stands, regardless.

if Staal didn't turn down 60 mil why did they trade him

how many games did the Canes lose last season around 48 no way they make the playoffs

if another team had made a beter offer Staal wouldn't be with the canes now

They lost 33 games last season.

They were ten points (that's five wins) out of the playoffs.

They just upgraded their roster. They have some solid players. If they can get a quality defenseman, I'll consider them a very strong contender for the playoffs. Right now, I think they can make it.

The Penguins traded Staal so they could get value now or let him walk for nothing next July. Seriously what is so hard to understand about this?

Staal was traded because he wasn't happy with the minutes he was getting and the role he was playing. He was always going to be behind Crosby and Malkin. How many fucking times does someone have to explain this to you? and also this

They lost 33 games, only 5 wins out of the playoffs.

But no other team made a better offer. It wasn't just "dumb luck" that he wound up with the Canes. The Canes probably offered more than any other team because they have his brother and want to reunite them together.

They lost in OT 16 times. Most of those were probably a shootout. You're using the shootout to backup your statements? :L

Hopefully your mouth, there is an awful lot of ignorant shit spewing out of it in this thread.

Unless he speaks as he types, wouldn't it be spewing out of his fingers?

In which case, shouldn't he put his foot in his fingers?

And how exactly would that work?

Crosby sat twice as much as he played last season how was he not getting a lot of playing time...

it seems everyone has more faith in Crosby than I do,I don't see him being the dominate player he was 3 seasons ago,Staal was going to pass him and move up to the 2nd spot,,,

hell it's done I can't change it all I can do is bitch about it

Did you WATCH Sid when he played? Pretty damn good. I'm pretty good with these concussion things, and if his injury (C1-C2) was really that, he could be in very good shape. Sid literally started a movement in the sports medicine community into studying the positioning of C1-C2 and it's affect on concussive like symptoms following a whiplash mechanism. We'll see where it goes, but I feel much better when THAT is the issue. THAT can be fixed. Sorry, Sid is too good of a risk to take.
