I had already heard that the Browns' scouts were at the Aggie/Alabama game scouting out Manziel. The first thing I thought of after hearing about the Richardson trade was JFF is who they are going after. All the hype and attention he would bring to their franchise could be attractive to Jimmy Haslam.

Think it's crazy? I don't.

I don't really give a shat about the Browns, but I pray for their fans that they don't waste another pick like that. I may be WAY wrong on this, but I do not see Manziel as an NFL QB.

I didn't either, last year. Russell Wilson's success plus Manziels improved passing makes me think he CAN be an NFL QB. I'm not saying he will but its a possibility that he could be successful. I will hold judgement until I know how the NFL responds to the read/option and how well he plays this year.

God I hope not.

He has bust written all over him. No work ethic, diva, total distraction. I'll pass.

He has progressively gotten more humble each week. I think he can be an NFL QB and help your team. Maybe they want Bridgewater, I dunno. All I know is they were scouting him.

Due diligence. They would be foolish not to.

I like Bridgewater more than JFF. I'm sure they will take a look at everyone. There is no denying Manziel's talent. But talent will not get it done in the NFL. You have to be studious, disciplined, and hard working. I don't think JFF is any of those things. Just my humble, non-professional opinion.

Or they could be taking a look at Evans.

They are getting the combo Manziel and Evans. They have chemistry, why not keep em together.

But I am not sold on Manziel as a NFL QB still. Love his accuracy, especially on the run. I think he could actually still run in the NFL, just need to see more I guess.

They were there to look at Johhny Football.

And AJ McCaron. And Johnny Football's WR. And Clinton-Dix. And the assortment of other prospects on the field.

There are maybe a dozen Sunday players in that game. Manziel is just one of them
