I can't believe how underappreciated Dez is by some of you. Ridiculous.!!We need a lot of things. Dez commands the ball. I don't think Dak needs that. Notice his %when he throws to Dez.

That is exactly what we are doing and the team said as much the day they took Elliott. Whichever guy is under center won't change that as long as it's working. If Romo comes back little will change and we will see what we saw of him in 2014. He won't throw it all over the lot and he won't try to push it downfield and score in one play. The goal will be the 8 minute drive just like we saw in 2014 and just like we have seen this year. I don't understand why people are saying Romo is going to come in and start throwing it downfield, it's going to be a lot of 3 and 3's with 6 yard completions for first downs. As long as Romo is healthy he will put up efficient numbers just like Dak has and just like Romo did 2 years ago.romo's best season was 2014
less is more
U took it the wrong way. Dez is a great player that needs the ball. With Romo he gets it. With Dak ???
I still don't get it.
You have to remember what happens when Dez is on the field. He becomes a huge focus of the secondary.
I have said it before, Dez knows his role as a decoy. He is not a selfish receiver.
If the Romo that was here in 2014 shows up, he should be the starter, no question. I think it's a valid question as to whether he is still that guy or not. It doesn't matter, he is going to start when he is ready, the question is, how long will he be on the field once he returns? I hope he remains healthy and plays great, as much because he has been a great team guy for the Cowboys as anything elseIt's like people forget that the last time the Cowboys had a top rushing attack, Romo put up MVP numbers, led the NFL in QBR, went 12-3(undefeated on the road), and was All-Pro. If not for Murray's fumble and Dez's drop, Romo very well could have been at least in the NFC Championship that year and maybe even the SB.
I'm not knocking Dez at all, but the last two weeks Dak hasn't seemed to miss him being there at all.
