We have a tool that uses a combination of IP and cookies. It's a double whammy - every user gets the cookie and if they then logon with an alt on the same computer or IP, we get alerted instantly. Someone might think they can beat the system, and with two computers/devices and a VPN they can, for awhile. But eventually they'll get crossed up and caught. My advice, if you like it here, don't use alts and just enjoy yourself. We are serious about permabans for doing this.

the original handle ChiefsLakers67 was MY handle on CBS. when i came to this one i'd noticed it was already taken by another poster. Fordman also noticed the person using it was probably using it to troll from the beginning...

CL67 is my sig line since all the way back to 2008. in any case, i'm using this handle obviously because my original one was taken. just wanted to clear that up...

Pretty childish of turnup....Starting to think he really is obsessed with Jefe.

Yeah. Turnup used to be a pretty respectable poster and I used to count him in with you and Flauge and a couple of other Heat fans as those who could be posted with and have intelligent conversation mixed with a bit of fun trash talk.

Somewhere along the line he became obsessed with CL and jefe and then extended it to following them from thread to thread and basically posting the opposite of anything that any Laker fan said, just to argue. It didn't matter how ridiculous he sounded or if other Heat fans told him he was wrong. He'd stick with it just to argue and cause problems.

It's why I quit responding to him on CBS and continued it here and it's why I posted that I don't care if he honors the bet that he lost to me. He's just not worth the time and effort.

FYI, some mods are still blue. You can look at the bottom of every forum to see who the mods are. Or you can look at the bottom of the main page for a "View Forum Leaders" if you would like to see all of them listed out.
