Maybe a stint here will give him the confidence to return to the NBA 1 day. He certainly can shoot the lights out when he's "on."

I don't think he'll ever carve out a role as a PG. If he could learn to guard just half-way decent, he could carve out a role as a Jason Terry type. Don't think he'll ever get close to that though.

I've heard he has an attitude problem and pretty much expects whatever team he's on to hand over the keys to the offense directly to him. Not sure how true that is, but I hope it isn't. Because I like Jimmer. Always have. Great shooter and fun to watch when he's on fire.

Jimmer Fredette is a great shooter but more importantly he is a great person. He might not go far in the NBA for a lot of different reasons that may or may not have to do with his actual ability, but you can't fault Jimmer for his effort, his attitude, his interviews, his support for others in every program he is a part of (a winning philosophy and strategy), and his desire to win.

Say what you will about Jimmer but don't let ignorance cloud the fact that just because he is positive about what he brings to the game doesn't mean he isn't also the most humble person in the spotlight you will ever meet.

Maybe Melo will finally learn to become the best team player ever and the Knicks won't lose so many games anymore, but I won't hold my breath.
