confirms hell join the Lions I'm not really familiar is this good? better than Delmas, minus the injuries
not really sure its an upgrade over delmas. I'd say they have the same talent level, its just that Delmas was a little better in pass coverage, while ihedigbo is a little better in run coverage.

He had the same impact as Delmas, except he actually stayed on the field. That's something or secondary severely lacked.but not really a difference

Good signing. Delmas wasn't that good anyway!
I ain't thrilled. Cut just 2 seasons ago, looked OK last year, but another guy who would be better as depth than as a starter. At least he doesn't get hurt every year. I do not see him as Delmas' talent level at all, but he's somewhat reliable. Fine with our cap situation as a one-to-two year low-end guy, but not really a difference-maker. No salary released yet but I suspect he came relatively cheap.
I think he is referring to Ihedbigo being named a starter in NE, getting benched for poor play and then being cut.
I think we're seeing a guy who could play adequately on a team with a good defense, but not a guy who will be able to raise the level of play in a poor secondary. They needed someone to start and this was what was left after the good players were signed for starter salaries. If under $3MM per year it's a good signing.
For what it's worth he was far more productive than Delmas last year vs. both the run and the pass. If he plays at last year's level then he's actually a pretty significant upgrade. That's the question on everyone's mind, though: was last year an aberration, or has he finally put it together in a defense that suits him?
