A week ago, if you asked me if he had a shot of making the roster, I'd have given you a one-word answer: "No." But he took 10 of the 25 first team reps including two good 3rd-and-short runs.

Dark horse to make the roster? Who gets bumped if they keep him?

He just have played before I got there. Only person who could get bumped is bolden IMO.

Could be a TE - Hoomanawanui had an up-and-down game, he's on the payroll for a LOT more than Develin is, and a lot of his value comes from position flexibility as a fullback since they've got better pure TE options.

I'd still lean towards fells being the odd man out of the TE group over Hoomanawanui, but 6 RB feels like a lot.

Yes, Develin is I think. And I'd say long shot regardless for the regular roster.

I wasn't feeling that way earlier but you may be correct. Fells is in a weird situation, they keep talking about how great he is doing in practice but then he can't get on the field,. He may be cut, not sure how cutting him will effect Develin, but in the end I don't think Develin makes the team either, we have Blount to use as a hammer.
