Jamaal Charles A "Stretch" for Week 1

Can't say I am too worried about the running game with Ware and West on the roster. A bummer nonetheless however. Best not to rush right now with depth behind him.

You have to wonder if he'll ever be the same again. Hopefully he can get back soon, he's a guy I really admire what he's been able to accomplish behind some pretty poor offensive lines.

The Chiefs, however, should be ok because they're pretty loaded at running back (provided, of course, that Andy Reid doesn't forget about the running game and decide to throw it 60 times a game).

considering a halfback's typical shelf life I hear what you're saying. can certainly hope for the best but it's definitely a "we'll see" attitude imo...

It seems running back by committee will be the strategy for the Chiefs this year. Makes sense to me.

If Jamaal isn't the same I'd imagine he'll be traded or cut in the offseason. Too many mouthes to feed and RB is not a position the Chiefs are thin at exactly.

Probably my favorite back to watch in the NFL when he's on. Hope he makes a full comeback.
