The sad thing is, we all knew it would end this way from past experiences. I was just hoping for once we shocked the world. Just heartbreaking.

Moore needs to understand the running game needs to be used more.

I thought so too but i do think Moore called more runs and Dak checked out of them. Looked like some RPOs with short passes. We did have the ball for 35 minutes to their 25, so we controlled the clock. We just had some bad plays that really hurt. The holding calls on the last drive were big. As bad as Anthony Brown looked , 35 for TB may have been worse. I just thought we left a lot out there. TB did too with their turnovers. We just seem to always come up a little short in those games.

Cowboys totallyblew this game. The missed 31 yard field goal and Cee Dee drop that turned into a pick was worse. So many opportunities to put the game away. Dak also took that terrible sack which put them out of FG position.

And the icing on the cake was that OPI at the end which was not called. Terrible non call. But too be honest I knew the POS refs would hose the Cowboys

AB gave up like about 300 yards. He was brutal. On the bright side the Cowboys did very well in most areas. The defense forced turnovers. The OL looked good. They should have beat the Bucs in a close one. The Cowboys look dangerous.

McGovern is the next offensive lineman that should get a contract extension,not William's. McGovern is becoming a technician out there. He can block the larger defensive tackles ,which I cant say the same about William's. McGovern is starting material.

Dak looks to be 100% ..that was an unknown. Dak is a straight up gamer ..that was not an unknown.
Overall, I really liked what I saw last night. Looks to be a real good season.

One thing I noticed last night,

For most of the night, Dak looked like he just carried a small piano up 4 flights of stairs ...by himself.

While Brady looked like he just walked through one of those long hallways at the Airport to get to his Gate for a First Class trip to Turks & Caicos

Sitting here with my morning coffee and reflection… it was a terrific game for the NFL. The missed OPI aside, I can’t complain too much. QB1 is back and this offense will be fine. Defense created turnovers which we all know has been an issue. Losing to the reigning SB champ by 2 ain’t so bad considering the situation. Only serious criticisms are still being stuck with Brown at CB & the overall poor special teams play (PK along with the long returns). Beyond that - on to LA. I’m pretty confident in this team right now.

Too many mistakes against a good team, super winnable game. The missed field goals, Zeke going out of bounds on that 3rd down swing pass and giving the Bucs more time, the Lamb through his hands INT, that's the game. Those are completely self inflicted.

The glass half full is as stated certain guys looked really good. I actually for the most part loved the play calling against a monster D Line. Less mistakes and we'll win a lot of games.
