I disagree. You can pretty much insert any starting D1 QB in that offense and they will put up ridiculous stats.

That defense will still lick major taint though........

The common denominator in all three is they are/were into their 3rd/4th years of college when they started for Riley...thus mature. Riley used that and even took it further.

All three have dealt with some situations that probably helped them mature both as a person and a player. Maybe not how they wanted to but.....

I think the bigger issue is the OL rebuild. I don’t think Kyler would put up 2018 numbers if he came back. The OL is going to set the ceiling and floor for the offense in 2019, not the QB

Yep. Got some talent there but it’s gonna take time to gel.

Not a shock I said he was coming to OU. Give him a little time with Lincoln and he will be great. The biggest thing this does though is gives Spencer Rattler a great mentor for a year.

You need to worry about replacing your 8 starters on defense.

Doesn’t affect Rattler or Mordecai at all. Kendall is transferring out and Hirts is a one and done.

I doubt it but it wouldn't matter anyways. Rattler will be a late arrival and won't play until the following year anyways. Hurts will be gone by then.
