It’s all about his maturity and his ability to handle his life. Just on his God given ability he should be a contributing DT for 7-8 years as long as he doesn’t fuck up off the field. That’s the floor. His ceiling is the limit.
Everyone's ceiling is the limit.

No it isn’t. My ceiling was depth OL guy at a D3 school haha.

Now I’m seeing what you’re saying I appreciate the exercise in semantics so I’ll amend.

The sky is the limit in terms of his ceiling. Canton someday is the ceiling for this prospect.

Nolan Smith reportedly looks even better than Jalen Carter, rushing off the edge, chasing plays sideline to sideline and running with guys like Boston Scott stride for stride in coverage. He looks like a potential star too.
I'm not as high on Smith as I am Carter

I think both Smith and Kelee Ringo are interesting guys who are going to be very scheme dependent. They show promise as hybrid players. Smith can rush the passer or he can play flat or hook/curl, cover out of backfield, etc…. Ringo could be a hybrid slot corner/ safety type. I’m hoping Desai has that imagination for these players. They offer the opportunity to employ a lot of disguise.

He’s getting an MRI today. Was seen limping after the game.

How does the league let this man fall to Philly at 10. He’s a game wrecker.

His fall to 10 had nothing to do with people not being aware of his talent. I absolutely wish the Lions had taken him, but lets not pretend like his fall was not without legitimate concerns.

Everyone knew what Philly got when they drafted him. Place was over run with of course he falls to the Eagles comments.

Now lets talk about Branch falling to 45!

Drunken drag racing that resulted in a death. And that is in college, before he was given a shit load of money.

Enjoy your game wrecker now, but keep your fingers crossed that he doesn't do anything stupid.

I hope he learned from it and has a great career. The mistake is why he fell, but that does not mean he can't change from it.

Oh I agree. It would be a shame if a talent like him had a career marred with off the field junk.

I hope he did learn from it, but I don't have a whole lot of faith in today's star players to have any kind of self-awareness. In any sport.

The Eagles don’t suffer bull shit in that locker room. He’s gonna be fine. When you have a great locker room with vets these concerns other teams should have really don’t apply in that locker room.

I get concerns over character issues but this was not Lawrence Philips entering that draft. So many teams fucked up and I'm extremely pissed he fell to the Eagles at 10.
