Out of Work Superhero
I guess we'll know tomorrow.
I think Jagr and his agent had something to do with the drama the last few days.
Some certainly, like his agent claiming he "lost" him basically, but it's getting blown out of proportion based on the way news gets around these days.
At least we're being taught some patience. All I know is that Shero is 100x's more patient than us fans.
....he better know the teams with the offers on the table now won't be waiting long. Shero learned his lesson with Hossa after 08.
Huh? I think Jagr watch is making P66 lose it!![]()
@DarrenDreger on 937 The Fan says #Flyers have discussed Jagr internally in the past hour.
Oh' HELL NO. Zero fit there anyway, but still. NO.
Hahaha, I'm saying that last night once 9pm rolled around Pens fans flipped out saying "AHHH, JAGR IS SO STOOPID! *blah blah blah* Decision today *freaking out and listening to every Russian National Inquirorer article out there*"
I still think the Pens have the trump card in Mario. Can you imagine Mario vouching for him, basically convincing Shero it's okay to go after him, then him turning the Pens down for more money? Jags will be burning a bridge quite possibly. With the fans certainly (I wouldn't HATE him, but I'd be fairly upset if he chose only slightly more money to go to say...Detroit), and even with Mario. And he respects Mario too much for that.
Do you actually think they are still that friendly? They seemed to have enough of each other by the end of Jagr's time there. I certainly do not think its a coincidence that Mario comes back, gets all the credit for anything good that happened on the ice, then suddenly Jagr is dying alive.
Well, what I know from the public discussions had it's fine. Jagr says he loves Mario, that he taught him everything he knows about the game, and that he'd play for him for league minimum awhile back, and they made contact about this before the Pens put an offer in. Mario has backed him in this situation clearly or there wouldn't be an offer.
