I thought both teams looked pretty good. A better game than I thought it would be.

I definitely agree. It was an entertaining game!

Having said that; Jags suck and Bengals don't
We might be watching Burrow against Lawrence for several years to come

It was a lot of fun reading this thread this morning. Interesting to read what other team fans think when watching, who have a little skin in the game even though they are not fans of the team. It was some fun back and forth.

WE looked like dog crap in the first half. Missing our defensive star in Bates and our #1 CB Awuzie, who I think was one of the top rated CB's in the NFL on PFF so far this year certainly didn't help anything. Plus, Tee Higgins is a difference maker on offense as well. When Tee is playing with Boyd and Chase, it seems like everyone is always open.

Burrow has a lot of swag in him. Never gives up, accurate, willing to sacrifice for the team win. However, if you need him, he will hoist the team up on his shoulders and drive them down the field also.

The biggest 2 adjustments:

Burrow in the 0-back set and more up tempo offense

Defense finally brought the LB's in on the run, including shading Lawrence. He tried to run that option a few times in the 2nd half and got nowhere. Once they shut the run down, they found themselves in more favorable situations further on in the down/distance battle.

But, Burrow, man. Baby-faced assassin. That check screen to the TE to basically set up the FG at the end was a play they haven't even ran since Camp. He recalled it when he saw the defensive alignment. Dude is smart.

jesus burrow is a baby....does he even shave? bengals better not fuck him up anymore than they have already.
He just looks a lot younger when he is clean shaven.

He can grow a little scruff and mature it up a little bit. But he is young looking regardless.

Only got to see the 2nd half...

- Burrow looked very poised as QB, seemed to make a lot of good decisions
- Saw the audible at end with DBs way off to TE, good call
- Mixon looked good running the ball, ran really tough... appears he got banged up some and did not finish game

Yeah. You definitely saw the best tale of two halves for the Bengals anyways. Imagine it was the opposite for the Jags.

Green Bay up next for Cincinnati. That will be a very tough game. Hoping we can give you a run for your money. We get down by 14 at halftime with Rodgers, we will not be coming back.
