I know few on here ever agree with my opinion of Bo. For the record, I think he is a good coach who is not learning as fast as most people think he should. What ever.
But this is not about Bo.
It baffles me trying to figure out how Beck, former passing game coordinator for Kansas (and effective too), calls such an ineffective passing game.
While it's obvious that TA is not gonna lead the nation in completion percentage any time soon, the passes that he is asked to make are ridiculous. Can he throw the short crossing route? Who the hell knows? It's hardly ever called. It's either WR screens or deep posts/flies with the occasional drop off to a RB.
You have a strong running game, a QB with a fair arm and above average running skills. How about some misdirection bootleg options? I swear Tracy Wistrom was the last TE who had a reception that wasn't made running down the hash marks.
That's all I got. This was gonna be a lot longer, but I have lost interest in typing.
