My reason for viewing Teddy’s performance as less the Lock’s is because I think he missed some throws he should make. In that game it didn’t hurt us.

Lick should have had 2 TDs in 2 drives.

This isn't including the red zone TD he threw that didn't get called back...

I'm going to be looking at the Bronco offensive formations. How many two TE sets and how much play action in the offense vs how my 3 WR sets and shotgun formations.? The week in Minnesota was two TE set and play action. That is the offense that Lock can run to the best of is abilities.

Teddy definitely won the day yesterday, but did he win by more then Lock did the week before? I have not watch the game yet, but sounds like the Oline had some issues when Lock was in the game.

It is fantastic to see 4 turnovers forced in 2 games. Hopefully that trend continues into the regular season.

The Broncos have the highest average points per game in the pre-season so far. I know it is only pre-season, but it has been a while since the Broncos lead the NFL in points per game.

By the way - Congratulations to Risner on his TD. I thought the play had been called dead, but heads up play by the Colorado OG - I believe that is technically a fumble by Williams.

When you look at each QB, last week Drew looked great with the starters and the Teddy looked really good with the backups. This week Teddy looked great with the starters and Drew looked average with the backups. So not only did Teddy look better with 2nd stringers than Lock did, Drew didn’t look that much better with the starters than Teddy did.

Teddy has looked like a champ whether he was with the first stringers or not, Drew has not.

It was the nuances of Teddy”s game that swayed me. He showed command of the offense, did not get shook when the pocket started to collapse, and went through his progressions. I still hope Drew is the answer, but I think this is Teddy’s offense this year.

If Drew doesn’t win the job this year we likely move on. He had to win the job and show big improvements to be here beyond 2021. I think he can, but the questions are will he get the chance, and will he do enough.

I disagree on Teddy looking great with the back ups, he missed some guys he should have hit instead of throwing to the short guy. It did appear Teddy played well with the starters, but he likely would have scored 1 TD against Seattle if it were a regular season game. You don’t go for it on 4th and 5 in a regular season game. I have not watched the game yet but hope to soon.
