Vokoun and Nabokov are both putting on positional goaltending clinics. Neither has made a single save that looks spectacular because they've both been square to every shot. They're both very on their games.

Yeah, but even with all the bad luck to the Pens this game, they are still only 1 shot away from taking the lead.

The Isles are failing to take advantage of it.

Aside from Orpik's stupid trip, the Penguin defense has looked really good today, even without Letang and Martin. Murray in particular has been outstanding in the defensive zone. We're keeping the shots to the perimeter and blocking a lot of shots and passes. It's taking away potential scoring chances from the Islanders.
