Cal finished (10-2) and ranked #7 after beating Clemson in the Citrus Bowl 37-13. That was a really, really good Cal team.A ranked Cal scored a late TD to make the final score 24 - 17 @ Cal and that game wasn't nearly as close as the score shows.
This man was 2 - 0 vs Tom Osborne and 1 - 0 vs Barry Switzer (Orange Bowl). What is things no one believes Alex?
Washington split the championship w/Miami in '91 but they finally met up with the Hurricanes in Miami in '94.
Behold!
I watched that Citrus Bowl and afterwards they interviewed a Cal player and he said Clemson might have had a chance if they could learn the forward pass. The Tigers ran that old ass option then similar to OU, NU, Bama and Texas. PAC teams were running the pro set long before that and they'd work those eastern teams most of the time.Cal finished (10-2) and ranked #7 after beating Clemson in the Citrus Bowl 37-13. 2005 Longhorns: Best player in cfb history: VY. All FIVE DBs were starting in the nfl in the next couple of years. OLine was monster. JAMAAL Charles. Even Selvin Young started for the Broncos for half a season. Two destroyer DEs. The only corps that was mediocre were the LBs, and really, they weren’t that bad at all.
Well the team won the natty and beat the team that all of media made hour long shows on tv about how they were the greatest team of all time. So I started with that common knowledge, and added to it. Dunce. You know your team isn't in the discussion when you have to talk about... what the players did independently of that TEAM.

But subtracted from the conversation so...Well the team won the natty and beat the team that all of media made hour long shows on tv about how they were the greatest team of all time. So I started with that common knowledge, and added to it. Dunce.
Oh. I notice that. The REAL greatest team of all time shit them up.But subtracted from the conversation so...
But I do agree that the media was dragging USC out way too much. Notice that no one is talking about them anymore either.
I was 3 during ‘95 Nebraska so I have no opinion on them. I think time period plays into it, what people define as ‘the best’ plays into it.The LSU fans are going to need to show up and help me out.
I was leaving it up to them to fill in the blanks, I wasn't keeping up.
All I know is that they looked better than Nebraska and I saw both.
Oh. I notice that. The REAL greatest team of all time shit them up.
And yes, ESPN ACTUALLY had an entire multi-segment series on how USC was the greatest team of all time and putting them up against teams of the past.
They also did this for Oklahoma in ‘03. There is a station that literally has 24 hours of air time to kill. If they could somehow find a way to work in everyone’s favorite ice cream to kill time they would.Oh. I notice that. The REAL greatest team of all time shit them up.
