Seems to me that the answer is "no". Curious what others think.

Towns. The consensus is that Okafor is too soft defensively and Towns has the greater upside.

I predict that Towns will be a stud and that Okafar will be Brook Lopez lite, which isn't exactly a compliment.

I thought Okafor had a jumpshot though. Towns is a big body that is all post. Correct?

Towns actually has a bit of touch and can shoot a midrange that extends to top of the key range. He's also very good with both hands and an excellent freethrow shooter for a big. What I believe sets him apart is that he's already very good on the defensive end.

I think Towns can develop a bit more of a face up game in time. Lots of upside.

Not really. It started out as Okafor but has mostly settled into a consensus top 4 (Towns, Okafor, Russell, Mudiay) all being somewhat equal and then a fairly big drop off. I've been high on Towns all season and see no reason to knock him off the top spot

I think it will be more clear when the Draft order is set.

But, I would expect Towns and Okafor to be the first guys off the board unless something funky happens during their physicals.

It gets interesting if a Team like Philly gets the top spot.

I mean, would they really take another Big?

I think Lakers would take Towns since they already have Randle.

Knicks would probably take Okafor.

Minny could use either.

But, I just read that Minny would not hesitate to take Mudiay if they fall out of the top 2.

With Rubio's injury history and his new contract, will he be hard to trade?

1st pick= Towns- 65% Okafor-30% Field-5%
It should be closer to 95% for Towns. Okafor might have more upside on the offensive end for sure but Towns could walk onto an NBA court from day 1 and do the exact things you expect a big man to do in today's game - play D, grab boards, hit a mid range jump shot and hit FTs. Okafor looks more like a flawed Franchise Player which isnt really as valuable in today's game with great PG play and 3pt shooting throughout the league. If we are talking player floors, you're looking at an Andrew Bogut and an Eddie Curry.

It's a toss up for me, whoever it is will be in a great situation with Wiggins as a teammate.

If they pass on Towns they will be sorry.
