I just dont know if the B1G would be that interested in most of those teams you have going to the B1G. None of those are that great football wise. Someone would have to help me out there bc I could be wrong

imo expansion has a lot more to do with TV sets and the area those TV sets are in, than the product the teams put on the field. This would stretch the TV footprint from Ga to pennsylvania and west as far as Nebraska(?). None of them are great football schools but all have pretty decent followings and these teams would allow the big ten a southern recruiting territory. All are great academic fits for the big10 as well.

edit: this also allows the big1G to overlap the SEC a to some degree. *recruiting

On our part? care to share? I know a little about what other schools are doing but cant get anything on VT.

VT is looking out for VT. This isn't Charlottesville. We aren't going down without a fight.

Will be a tug of war for sure, but we will atleast have "options". Steger knows how valuable VT football is. He is "one of the good guys".

The Big1G has a rule that in order to get in your state must touch a state with a big ten school in it. In my scenario Ga (gT) doesnt touch NC (unc).
