Same here... Very happy to have gotten a 2nd rounder...I'll gladly take a 2nd rounder in exchange for DK. Good trade.
Now let's see what kind of supporting receiver cast we can build around JSN...

My hope is that they're going to right-size this roster in terms of where resources are being spent and use this draft capital more on positions that help achieve the stated identity of running the ball and hard nosed defense. I am not saying none of these picks (or others) will be used on a receiver, but that shouldn't be the priority.Same here... Very happy to have gotten a 2nd rounder...

Well alright then. Looks like it was about the money entirely. Said he wanted a warm weather team-that's not Pittsburgh, wanted to go to a contender- Are the Steelers contenders?, QB? Heck they don't know who the QB will be. So JUST about the money it seems. So the Seahawks get more cap space and save on 26 and beyond. Just make the right choices spending it. Oh yeah the second round pick works also.Looks like he was traded to the Steelers for a 2nd rounder... He signed a 5yr / 150 million contract...
We will also omit about 4 or 5 unsportsmanlike penalties per year with DK gone. I liked the guy, but he was a hot-head and bonehead quite often.Well alright then. We now have a 1st, 2 2nds, and 2 3rds in this upcoming draft. I like it.
round 1 TE here we comeI like it as well... Build the defenses and the trenches...
I mentioned a week ago in a post that Kubiak used the most multiple TE sets in the NFL last year... He also likes receivers that block well... DK was ranked #54 and Lockett was ranked #99 so my guess we're going to focus a bit on receivers who can block... TE's will probably be a focus as well...
Why are you always so negative?round 1 TE here we come
It makes sense, we need a Big WR and our new OC loves TEsWhy are you always so negative?
It's been more than a decade since they've had a big multi-hit draft class and without one now, this team is back to severe mediocrity as their ceiling. Why are you always so negative?
FA opens in a few days. Let's see what moves they make and maybe that'll give us an idea on possibly which side of the ball gets drafted R1.It's been more than a decade since they've had a big multi-hit draft class and without one now, this team is back to severe mediocrity as their ceiling.
Maybe this staff can have a big draft, but I'm not holding my breath. They will be relying on too many rookies.
Not real excited on any of the QBs being discussed either.
I won't miss Geno, but I fear they end up with someone worse.
I have no worry about the defense other than they could spend too much focus on that side and not have enough resources to rebuild an offence that has been torn down to the foundation.FA opens in a few days.
