Not saying we don't but I don't feel it's the same it was w/ the Raiders/Broncos...
I think nostalgia is playing a role in how you feel about that. That's the rivalry from you/we were kids, so it's always going to mean something a little different.

The Hawks vs 49ers of the '10s was about as good as it gets, and I don't think any of the matchups we had from the old AFCW is on that level.

No, that is definitely not the case. I think there were two maybe three years were playing he 49ers was awesome. Still doesn’t have the same vibe as the Broncos and Raiy to me. Every single time we played those two teams was hands-down more fun to watch than it is today with the Rams and 49ers.

The Seahawks were the only team that had a winning record against the Raiders in the NFL. In the 90's the Hawks lost that winning record against them though. Damn 90's killed the Hawks and is the reason Seattle got moved out of the AFC West. If you ask me Seahawks/Raiders/Broncos/KC were some great games and there was big time rivalry there. they should have moved San Deigo out. Hell i feel Seattle might have had a couple more trips to the superbowl had they stayed in the AFC West. No way the steelers beat Seattle in Seattle in 2005 and they all ready had beat the Best the NFC had to offer that year in the NFC Championship game.

Weak WR draft and no WR of note other then old dudes like Adams on the free agent market, so I think a first plus is possible.

Isnt he due to be a free agent? A team would have to package and then pay a 29 year old Metcalf but we will see it doesn't help that Debo went for like a 5th rounder lol. I do hope we can at least get a 1st for him I think the seahawks were trying to trade him for the last 2 seasons and the right deal was just not on the table.

Deebo looks broken, so not exactly the same situation, but yeah it's an example of what could happen.

People on youtube are yapping about Green Bay offered their first and Doubs for DK and a 4th. No fucking way they offered that and were willing to pony up 25-30 mil/per, imo. We would have jumped on that in a heartbeat because DK isn't worth anything close to that. If we get a 2nd and it includes some later round swap, I'll be ecstatic. I think it's a 3rd more than likely considering the contract the trading team will have to pay.

My opinion on what the Seahawks could get for Metcalf goes back and forth. On one hand when a player expects a new contract for lots of money, it lowers his trade value a good bit normally. There are exceptions to this like what the Packers got for Adams for example (JS should bring that trade up if they want Metcalf). Metcalf is 27 and won't be 28 until December so just in his prime and while his stats don't equal Adams numbers he does draw a lot of the defense attention in a way most WR don't and his size, speed , experience and success despite all that defensive attention is note worthy and he will be VERY hard to replace. Supply and demand works out for the Seahawks if they trade him, as this draft is weak for top tier WRs and free agency has no one real attractive at WR and there are plenty of teams that could use a player like Metcalf and it only takes one team willing to pay up.

Chargers and patriots seem like likeliest teams, maybe redskins as a wildcard
