I'm sure you two do agree, homer peas in a pod that you are, but your 2-5 record the last two bowl seasons and 5-12 record against P5 teams this year and fact that Missouri is your conference's one win against a ranked opponent OOC, would suggest otherwise.

You guys are starting to sound like Boise after their win over Oklahoma. Will you be bringing up your win over Missouri ten years from now too?

Speaking of last year

BCS Bowls.

SEC (0-2).

If all 4 teams win out this is likely what youll have.

SOS will likely be : MSU, OSU, TCU, Baylor ( in that order )
Best win ( by the committee rankins ) will be : Baylor, OSU, TCU, MSU ( assuming Bama beats Auburn )
Best loss will be: MSU, TCU, Baylor, OSU
Conference champions will be: OSU, Baylor

Of course all of this doesnt even take in to account the injury factor which could be seen as a favor for OSU since their only loss came in week 2 after they lost their All B10 QB for the season.

- That really is too close to call IMO. At that point you simply have to determine who you think the committee would want in the game. 2 SEC teams?? Probably not. TCU?? Tough to justify that with their loss to Baylor. That pretty much leaves you with Baylor or OSU. Now do you think the strings that pull the puppet of the committee would rather have OSU ( a traditional power with a HUGE national fanbase that will drive ratings and turn on TV sets ) OR do you think theyd rather have Baylor ( a non traditional power with a tiny fanbase that really wont draw too much ratings or TV's)?? Its really that simple. I dont know what else to tell you, money is going to drive the cart just like it always does and OSU brings the money when the other 3 dont. Its why OSU jumped Baylor this week, they are just moving them up slowly so they can justify it by years end instead of keeping them 7th and jumping them to 4th the last week.

Ohio State struggled to beat an overrated Gophers team.

I don't think Minny is overrated, but they have a pretty good team in a bad year for the B1G conference.

I think the biggest strike against Ohio State, from a conference schedule standpoint, is that a team like Penn State (likely 7-5 season record) was able to take them to OT. OSU dominated most the other teams (besides Minny and PSU), but I'm not sure they've had enough big wins to impress the playoff committee. I don't think Indiana or Michigan will help their case much either.

At least the committee has shown that they analyze the games and game control, unlike people on here who think its all black and white.

I'm sure TCU would have done awesome last week vs. Minnesota at Minnesota.

They proved that in their game against 3 win Kansas. ..........Oh wait.

It won't matter because they aren't going to beat us in the B1G Championship. The only good thing on their resume is that Michigan State win. Michigan State's only good win is that near-collapse over Nebraska. And last week, we all saw where Nebraska stood against a healthy Badgers team. If they beat us with a healthy Melvin and the same guys we have today, then they'll have a playoff case, but e aren't there yet.

thats the same attitude people had (msu fans and all other fans) before the MSU game. Yes, keep being over confident. and don't give OSU the respect they've earned. see how that works out.

I swear, you blind haters might want to actually watch a game before spewing BS.....

Up 17-0 at half then Herman took his foot off the gas and ran the same 4 plays the rest of the game:L

Michigan state game is what can happen when he opens it up.

I don't think so. Ohio State's nonconference schedule is a joke. Big Ten teams are overrated across the board. Nebraska embarrassed themselves on defense against Wisconsin. Wisconsin doesn't have a passing game so all teams really have to do is load up against the run. That being said Florida St. isn't any better in terms of schedule. However, at least they're undefeated.

Oh yeah, right, this doesn't matter.

I've got to say it is quite refreshing to see Ohio State fans hanging their hats on a 7 point win against Minny as a signature win this year.

I know people like to bash Alabama's schedule, but according to this week's playoff rankings, Alabama will have played by regular seasons end:

#4 Miss St.
#8 @ Ole Miss
#14 Auburn

Ohio State:
@ #11 MSU
@ #25 Minny

I know Ohio State didn't schedule VaTech thinking that they would be a 5 loss team in 2014, but unfortunately they are. They also probably didn't think Michigan would be a 5 loss team, and Penn State would be a 4 loss team when scheduling their OOC games 5-10 years ago, but regardless they have a bad schedule. It might just bite them in the butt with one loss on it.

Typical excuse. Don't forget the first TD drive was a gifted interception and the long FG kicked 3 seconds after the play clock expired. Could've been just as easily 7-0. I'm sure someone will bring up the QB being hurt instead of Penn State causing a few turnovers and their defense making adjustments.

If you go solely off the numbers then the pecking order at year end should be MSU, OSU, Baylor, TCU BUT you cant go soley off the numbers because they dont take titles and injuries as factors.

Alos you cant claim that OSU's best win is "overrated" and then debate the merits of MSU when their best win is a 3 loss team. You dont get it both ways. If anyone is overrated between Michigan State and Auburn it is Aburn. 3 losses, gifted another win and been blown out 2 times.
