As for all those other excuses, your conference hasn't had a winning bowl record since 2009 when you went 4-3 and then only one other one going back to 2000 ...did all your conference quarterbacks have a shoulder injury every year.

At this point nothing would surprise me. It's just to bad OSU lost to Virginia Tech. I don't view beating Duke as a big deal. Especially considering Tech lost their three previous games. We're talking epic bad loss here.

I've got to say it is quite refreshing to see Ohio State fans hanging their hats on a 7 point win against Minny as a signature win this year.

I know people like to bash Alabama's schedule, but according to this week's playoff rankings, Alabama will have played by regular seasons end:

#4 Miss St.
#8 @ Ole Miss
#14 Auburn

Ohio State:
@ #11 MSU
@ #25 Minny

I know Ohio State didn't schedule VaTech thinking that they would be a 5 loss team in 2014, but unfortunately they are. They also probably didn't think Michigan would be a 5 loss team, and Penn State would be a 4 loss team when scheduling their OOC games 5-10 years ago, but regardless they have a bad schedule. It might just bite them in the butt with one loss on it.

I flipped on the Bama/LSU game for a little while.. It was like watching grass grow so I turned it off.

TCU crushed Minnesota but Ohio State just limped by them.

TCU played them at home whereas Ohio State went to a snowy minnesota. TCU won 31-7 at home, Ohio State was up 31-14 on the road in the 4th...the game wasn't quite as close as the score indicated. The buckeyes pulled away in the 2nd half and had it well in control.
