I don't think Minny is overrated, but they have a pretty good team in a bad year for the B1G conference.

I think the biggest strike against Ohio State, from a conference schedule standpoint, is that a team like Penn State (likely 7-5 season record) was able to take them to OT. OSU dominated most the other teams (besides Minny and PSU), but I'm not sure they've had enough big wins to impress the playoff committee. I don't think Indiana or Michigan will help their case much either.

I don't think much of FSU, but they are undefeated, so there you have it. If they lose a game, they most certainly won't be in the playoffs IMO.

That game was on at the same time as the LSU Bama game. Forgive me for not watching your snooze fest Part III more closely. (I had it on in my 3 TV man cave just wasn't paying attention to it)

even though I watched the game, What does watching BAma barely beat Arkansas or any other SEC game, have to do with the Big 10 getting respect. Furthermore, according the rankings, the Big 10 gets plenty of respect.

ummm because they are actually competitive in a lot of those games you brought up. Do you ever watch them or do you just look at the score and make up your own mind about how the game went?

Is your tiny brain capable of actually analyzing a game and realize that they are actually close and could go either way with bounce here or a bounce there or plus or minus an injury?

I actually think UGA might be the best the SEC has to offer this year. My guess is that Missouri will lose to Ark and UGA will beat whichever team from the West gets in.

People focus too much on OOC. Those games constitute 25-33% of your season and in most instances they occur while you are still figuring out your team. For teams that have alot of experience back that isnt as big a deal but for teams that are replacing people it is. I dont think Miss State should be disqualified because their OOC sucks, I just think that IF your OOC sucks then you should have to win AT LEAST your division in order to be called one of the 4 best teams in the country. In a perfect world itd be great id everyone played 9 conference games and at least 1 OOC game vs a P5 team but that likely isnt going to happen anytime soon. That means you have to look at the season in total. You have to look at when teams lost, who they lost to, were they missing key people, who did they beat and where did they beat them. If you do ALL that then MSU/OSU/Baylor and TCU are all pretty interchangeable. That means you have to think like the committee and the force that will be televising the games. That really leaves you with OSU as your only option. Its not really even that close if you do it like that.

By contrast Prescott runs a 4.6 40, but more than one of you posers has called him slow since the Bama game.
