He'd need to do this a lot more years to be in the conversation but in terms of peak years he's already had a few that are as good as Mays or Pujols or Thomas or Aaron or even old timers like Wagner and Hornsby

Another great year, definitely compares to the ones Judge has had lately

The game was a little different then (.424 averages are not happening anymore). Judge's 2024 OPS+ is the same as Hornsby's 100 years ago that you linked. One tick higher actually, so compared to his peers Judge had a similar year.

Judge currently owns the all-time best OPS+ among RHH, edging out Hornsby 177 to 175. Of course, Hornsby also has more than double the PA. Mule Suttles and Mike Trout are tied for 3rd at 172. Mantle was a switch hitter, but about 2/3 of his PA were as a lefty

You got any brains?

Well look at that, you already answered.
He needs to do it longer like Mays, Aaron and Robinson

agreed. That’s why I answered “No” to the question

Yeah not really Germaine to the subject since we were discussing right-handed hitters
Most of the greatest hitters were lefties, it's simply an advantage since most pitchers are righties

Agreed. Something about the left handed swing looks so sweet. Not so good to throw left handed since it limits the positions you can play at the MLB level but definitely good to hit left handed

even more amazing is that in many ways Judge can do BETTER than he has been doing.... sure, his .486 BABIP is crazy and not continuing...

but his HR rate is the lowest it has been during this 4 season onslaught... and his walk rate is well below his career numbers...

I wouldn't be too surprised at him finishing the season with a BABIP around .400

well, again, it is currently .486... for it just to be above .400 t end of season is probably a bet that wouldnt pay out much...
