Brother, I was lucky, and married up. Way up.

When I visited my wife's parents for the first time, her dad greeted me at the door with a 49ers jacket on and wearing a Giants' hat. For a brief moment, I thought it was St. Peter at the Pearly Gates.

I dated a girl in high school who didn't even know what baseball was, and another who was a devout A's fan.

I was wonflapdown over there and I think there was/were other/s with subtle spelling diffs. No nephews. One niece teaches in Albany, the other is at Vandy.

BTW: I wish I could say I knew half as much about the Giants/baseball as most of the guys on here, but it wouldn't be true. Sometimes I feel like a guy in an honors English class who doesn't know what a gerund is. (wait, what the hell is a gerund again?).
