Miami wouldn't bolt the ACC without Florida State. Florida State would bolt the ACC...so would Georgia Tech.
So you could subtract Cincy and UCF...and add FSU and Ga Tech. If ND would play in that Big East version you could also dump Boston College.

That would be a decent league.

That new Big East would be strong in Football, Baseball & Basketball. Probably would be top heavy in
Basketball and Baseball, but it would have 10 strong programs in Football. (A couple are outdated
but competitive.)

It would be a 6th power conference and alleviate the ridiculous amount of teams in the ACC and Big Ten. I know it's far fetched, but it'd be pretty cool. You can add/subtract which teams you'd like to see in it/out of it I guess. Big XII model. Round robin schedule and top-2 play for the conference championship; and the winner gets a spot in my 8-team playoff. Notre Dame to the Big Ten? Take a team out of my new Big East and insert Notre Dame? I've always thought ND belonged in the Big Ten and Penn St should have been in the original Big East, but politics or something interfered.

We'd get to see Penn St-Pitt-West Virginia rekindled among other rivalries of yesteryear. I know the prick bastards who run the show don't give a shit about that, but it'd be awesome as hell. Granted this would require a little tweaking of other conferences, but that's a topic for another day.....or if you want to discuss it now go right ahead.
