Lot variables to account for like how does Auburn, Florida, Michigan and Wisconsin look by the end of the season

Going off what I’ve seen so far and accounting for Offensive and Defensive stats, OSU is the better team and would get in

Impossible to know. But I’d bet my last dollar it would go to the SEC because of the gayness factor of 2011.

If It came down to 11-1 Non Champ LSU and 11-1 Non Champ Ohio State for the final spot who would the committee give the finals spot to??

I lean LSU.
Normally the national championship goes through Auburn every year but it’s complicated this year because Ohio State beat Cincinnati.

I’m just not sure what they would do.

LSU. Tougher conference, tougher schedule although upon review I was somewhat surprised to see four currently ranked teams on Ohio State’s schedule.
Tougher division can be argued. Since LSU did not play the entire conference it does not come into play.
However I would give the nod to LSU due to schedule mainly the OOC.

I'd go with LSU. They'd have the better loss even if Bama/PSU is 1 and 2 because OSU would have lost at home. I would also project LSU to have played a more difficult schedule, although that is pretty close. And their computer numbers in terms of how they have played are basically identical at this point in the season. I'd lean LSU but slightly.

Place Auburn and Cincinnati in a bowl game obviously

Id need more info . How do Texas and Cincinnati finish. How close were the losses. How close are their other games the rest of the year etc.

The losses would have to be to Bama and PSU so do either of those teams have a loss?

Honestly its impossible to pick right now without the other info

Speaking of this comparison, if Ohio State is #1 over LSU in the first CFP rankings then that's just ridiculous. They may very well be a better team. But LSU's schedule has been so much more difficult and since they're still undefeated then that should be worth way more than dominating inferior opponents like OSU has mostly done.
Speaking of schedules. If Bama's and Clemson's schedules/resumes to date aren't good enough to rank them #1, why are they even good enough to rank them #4 or #5?

Sure seems like people want to use resume for the #1 spot but the eye test for other spots. Both of those are the same teams!

Brillant.

Solves the problem of who gets in the playoffs and gets Malzahn fired.

Love it.

I'm assuming in this scenario a conference champion Oregon and Baylor/Oklahoma would have more than one loss?

Because their resumes and schedule arent on par with LSU, OSU or PSU but are on par with the other unbeatens and theyve bern more impressive in those wins than the teams they are on par with schedule wise.

That's assuming the opponents the first three have played end up being as good as currently perceived at the end of the year. (Ex: LSU's Texas win ain't looking too swift now. Their Auburn win may not be too swift by the end of the year either.)

If all five of those teams are at full strength and play each other, I'd still take Bama and Clemson. And I'd bet the Vegas money has them favored.

But, what the hell do I know. I've only got $2 in vcash left!
