Ohio State doesn't have the clout.

Sorry to inform them but only Nebraska, Oklahoma and Alabama have made the title game in this modern era (BCS, Playoff) without winning their conference.
Ohio State did make the CFP without winning theirs.

who are the other 3 in?

I would guess Penn St, Alabama, and Clemson...seems like the only scenario where these are the ones being considered.

I'd lean LSU, but it would depend on the quality of the loss. If LSU loses to Alabama by a slim margin and Ohio State loses to Penn State by a slim margin then it becomes much more difficult. If say Ohio State loses big to Penn State or loses at all to Maryland, Rutgers or Michigan then it's an easier decision. (FTR: I have no expectation that OSU will lose to any of those teams and will be picking them throughout the rest of their schedule.)

I don’t know if a scenario where Ohio State only loses one game, to someone other than Penn State but doesn’t make the conference championship game.

Speaking of this comparison, if Ohio State is #1 over LSU in the first CFP rankings then that's just ridiculous. They may very well be a better team. But LSU's schedule has been so much more difficult and since they're still undefeated then that should be worth way more than dominating inferior opponents like OSU has mostly done.

That's true. I don't think there is one either.

Impossible to know at this point. I'm guessing LSU loses to Bama and Ohio St loses to Penn St in this scenario. Since they only have one loss, the schedule, wins and by how much, their lone loss and by how much, etc. will all come into play.

If Ohio St lost by a field goal and LSU loses by 21 points...it's an easy answer or if you flip the teams. If both are close games or both blowouts, again, impossible to know given how the rest of the season went.

LSU. Tougher conference, tougher schedule although upon review I was somewhat surprised to see four currently ranked teams on Ohio State’s schedule.

Who gets in if LSU loses to Alabama in the reg season and then undefeated tOSU loses to undefeated Minnesota in the CCG?

Let's assume every other undefeated or 1 loss team drops a game before the end of the season except for Alabama and Clemson, then it would be Alabama, Minnesota, Clemson and who?

Nobody was beating Minnesota in Indianapolis that night.

This scenario has PSU,Clemson, and Alabama at 13-0.

Also has Oklahoma at 2 losses and Oregon at 2losses. Then their is no other choice but LSU or Ohio State

Also if Ohio State beats PSU and Oklahoma and Oregon lose 1 more and win their conference the Bama/LSU game is meaningless IMO because their is no other choice but the Bama/LSU loser
