Everytime I watch now it's just guys standing around as he launches from deep. Like 7 feet behind the line type of deep. Granted he makes a lot of them.

Here is something interesting I heard on Sirius yesterday while driving the wide open expanses of West Texas.

If Trae Young were to win the Naismith, OU will have both the Heisman and Naismith winner the same school year. (Not calendar year.) Know which is the only other school to achieve this?

None but OU also did it in the 08-09 school year with Sam Bradford and Blake Griffen.

Haven't researched it but I'll take Sirius word for it.

OU and Utah I believe.

Against Oklahoma St, Young had 48 points and nobody else had double figures. Ridiculous. He took damn near 50% of the shots. He's a great player and all of that, but 5-on-1 is not going to get it done. I always temper my expectations for OU basketball. Finish in the top-5 of the Big 12, get a conference tourney win, and reach the Sweet 16. If they can do that it's a nice season.

Trae is the college version of Harden. The kid doesn't even make an ATTEMPT to play defense. His teammates are never in their spots, none of them can't dribble, recklessness, ill-regard for the ball, and he's just playing like he's in a rec center playing with his boys.
