I have no gripes of the close win vs Michigan. It is the biggest rivalry in sports and it was going to be a close game. I said in a thread a while back when people thought it would be a blowout that Michigan would play them tough and they did. They probably needed 1 more turnover to pull the upset. Or even a better execution on the 2 pointer.

Ohio State is getting slammed because the Big Ten is down this year and because they played bad competition out of conference. No reason to play Florida A&M. They are not even tied to a team like that.

Well, they asked it on ESPN polls and it won as far as college sports goes, and that included UNC vs Duke basketball. Pros? who knows.

But it is definitely a huge rivalry.

Well if UM's 96th ranked offense can put up 603 yards and 41 points on Ohio State -- I wonder what MSU's 81st ranked offense can do?

Think about that -- SIX HUNDRED YARDS. To put that in perspective -- UM had 158 yards against Iowa (I thought it was only 125), 175 yards against Nebraska and 168 yards against Michigan State.

So against Iowa, Nebraska and Michigan State -- UM had 501 yards of offense total in 12 quarters of football. UM had 603 against Ohio State in 4 quarters.

It is just embarrassing how bad the B1G, as a whole, is right now.

I do find it funny, when I asked the question for the OSU faithful to name their signature win during their winning streak -- All I hear is crickets.

So, this is a fairly premature thread.

MSU doesn't annihilate anyone -- they play tough hard nosed football and win with their defense. Will be interesting to see how OSU does against MSU's run defense, as they have the best run defense in the country giving up around 55 yards a game.

I can say -- I was more impressed with MSU than I was with OSU. I'm not sure MSU has enough offense to beat OSU though. If MSU is to beat OSU -- it'd have to be a low scoring game and MSU would have to control the clock on the ground.
