Nice win by lakers. Had fought win
Hard work and play hard for 48 minutes. This is the first time that the Lakers have had a team that played hard the entire 48 minutes since Shaq Oneal left the Lakers. All of them after had periods where they didn't play hard.

Our 2nd shit the bed. They are good for that once every 3rd or 4th game. So frustrating. Butler had an off night.

Same...

wasn't like anyone was predicting playoffs for this season anyhow...

Not a single Lakers fan has predicted a playoff spot this year. Most of us would have been happy with 27 to 30 wins. Some fucking idiots even wanted to bet us they wouldn't make 30!

Now they're at 10-10. Only twenty wins away from that 30. With over sixty games to go.

well, ONE fucking idiot with a nominal degree of humorous renown. if he'd've had the cast-iron gonads to bet on his own supposedly great team i would've gladly taken that bet...

You think those Shaq teams played hard for 48 minutes every night? :spit:

I think they did in those first three championships, but I think they kind of got lazy in the fourth and fifth year. I realize it may have appeared that they didn't care, and did though. This team in my opinion is hustling in ways I have not seen in a long time

Maybe the first one. But not the rest.
The first one was one to remember though - I remember in the Western Conference Finals, the Lakers were down in the fourth quarter by 14 or so points and was thinking it was over. Fans were streaming out there and going home and then the Lakers came back and won it. Can you imagine paying thousands of dollars for a playoff ticket, leaving early because you thought it was over and they had lost and then by the time you get home - You find out that you missed the best part of the entire series and was just simply looked stupid:pound::pound:

That second season - they were just flat out better than anyone. Then the third season and Robert Horry screwed the Sacramento Kings - I still get people up there telling me they aren't over it yet - when I ask them about it:lol: I only ask because I enjoy being rubbing It in though

You don't practically go undefeated in the playoffs during a freaking 3-peat by being lazy.

I can't imagine that myself because I'm not an LA sports fan. They are notorious for doing that.

Just picture the team of your choice in the finals and you leave before it's over thinking that your team was so far behind that there was no way they could win. Then you get home and find out that you missed the greatest come back in recent sports history - paid 5,000 for your ticket and missed the best part - I think I would be pissed

I already said that it was in the fourth season after that three peat that it seemed like the Lakers were not playing the entire 48 minutes. My point is that this is the first time in years that you had a team play this hard for the entire 48 minutes. It's a pretty tough thing to do really.

I think it was more of they had the championships and under-estimated how hard they would have to work for a fourth - they kept talking about they hadn't flipped the switch and would turn it on when the time come - but that may have just been the sportspeople on ESPN - they weren't the greatest at it

The traffic is ridiculous. You might see an amazing comeback but most of the time you are just going to end up sitting in traffic for hours.
