Maybe the players who have lacked concentration will pucker their butt holes and focus now that there has been a QB change, and the guys who have been out there fighting through this will play with renewed vigor as they get buoyed by the though of a fresh start. Or we could get our asses kicked again.

Hey, remember when we played against Houston when Oz was their QB? I'm thinking it was the game with his Bestest Fumble Ever. Yes I know that he looked crappy against our very ferocious Defense. A lot of QB's do. But I do remember something besides him not looking great, the Bestest Fumble Ever, and the Angry Weasel Face he got at the end when he finally did make a few plays. He actually wasn't so bad at throwing the ball away when the play was going to go nowhere. There were quite a few times where I thought we had him for a sack and he chucked it away. Or at least it seems that way from what I recall. I'm going to go watch the game again via NFL Game Pass this week to see if I'm imagining it or not. So there's something you can hang your hat on if true:

Brock Osweiler sure does throw the ball away with vim and vigor! Woo hoo!

Yeah Geo and I were at that game. Surely not his worst game. But not a good game either.

When you realize how crappy our offense gives our defense for field position, yes... Yes, it is ok for them to blast our offense. They have been pathetic and our D has been good. Yes, we have struggled against the TE... But if our offense would score more then 10 points most game we'd be winning.

We need to work up a QB rating system composed entirely of throwaways. You know, it's a plus to the QB's score if it saved a sack, it's a minus to the score if someone was (reasonably) open but he just didn't see it, stuff like that. I would bet that Oz's Throwaway QBR was pretty high. I guess we'll find out if his TQBR was just a flash in the pan or not.

But even when we had Manning our D would get blasted on covering TE's.

Right but we were winning because our offense while not good by any means was better then it is now.

Horse shit. Defense forces teams to pass to catch up because our offense used to score points. TE passes are usually seams or finding a hole in the zone, because yet again, defense shuts down thw wide outs, and pass rush forces check downs.
Klis is a tool.
