Not a luxury pick he is t he 2nd best defensive player in this draft. Shark you think Scheff is going top 4? lol
I know its bullshit but why the smokescreen? Scherff is not going before 5.

So you pass on guys like Von Miller for average o lineman? I don't think so. I explained in the previous post how Jax controls everything.
Another thing about Fowler is that he can backup the two ILB which we have no depth behind. The Fowler pick makes sense IF he is there.
We hope to trade back to the 10 to 12 range. That's where it gets dicey for scherff.I know its bullshit but why the smokescreen? Scherff is not going before 5.

You know my thinking on that. I would much rather have peat and an extra 1st pick that just scherff. It's not even close.I dont think its dicey. I think he is gone if we trade behind the Giants and Rams. One of the two WILL take him. So the real question becomes do we think Peat or Collins are close enough in skill to give up Scherff for an extra pick??

i would risk it. As I've stated before, there are 6 OTs that graded out with a 1st round grade. We can still get a very good OT. Remember, we are looking for a RT, not a LT. very good is fine for a RT.Problem with that is, what happens if we trade back and Schreff, Peat and Collins come off the board. Would you really risk going into the season with Chester and Compton starting just to get an extra 3rd round pick?? Getting this year right is going to set the tone going forward. And I think that starts with fixing the line more so than having an extra pick at this point. Sure that pick could be the next Russell Wilson.... or the next Josh Leribeus. Lets not pretend like our new GM has never missed on a pick after all.

We need both quality and quantity. Also, if we trade back, it won't be just for an extra 3rd rd, it will be a 1st round pick. Big difference. This time last year Morgan Moses and Cyrus Kojo also rated with first round grades.
Again Im just saying. Quality over quantity.

I wouldn't do it for less than 2 1sts. If we are staring at Mariota, someone will give us 2 1s. Unfortunately, one may be next year.you holding out hope the Browns will allow themselves to be Rg3'd for Mariota?? And yes for an extra first rounder I would make the move. But for an extra 2nd or 3rd.. .I would rather have Scherff.
