1 game more a year means nothing. above average receivers only play around 12-15 years now and i estimated that Smith would probably go 15 years (being generous) so he would still have to average 109+ receptions for the next 14 years. he would have to average 1570+ yards a season. and he would have to score 13.7 receiving TD's each of those 14 years. even you can't believe that Smith could sustain that for 14 years

I didn't really see all the details on what they gave up and the contract, etc to judge the trade itself, but this is a great move by the Eagles. Smith is a good #2, he isn't a #1. Brown is a clear cut monster #1. The only thing that can hold the Eagles back is Hurts.
