That doesn't make any sense. It's as if you think Brown's contract will do anything other than lower his cap hit the next two years based on this extension. Like all their moves this will free up cap space in the early years and kick dead money out until he is no longer on the team. Where did I say the Eagles won't sign players this year? Go back and look and I even talked about how I expected them to bring in another big FA.
