I said, If the Super Bowl is snowed out...and, let's say because of weather, the game is delayed until Monday...you don't see that as a problem? Of course football should, and can be played in the snow/foul weather, its freakin' football!

This is the Super Bowl fellas. And, at an average ticket price of $3,500 and other associated cost to travel and stay in NY/NJ...IF it's "snowed out", Goodell should not only be FIRED, he (the NFL) should pay a hefty fine to every single person who holds a ticket.

There is no intelligent reason to consider delaying the game.

If there is ten feet of snow on the field, play through it.

The game itself isn't the problem. It's all of the production involved, it's not a normal Sunday game. It's not just a game anymore, it's a show. And I watched an interview with the guy running the whole thing and he just said that there were contingency plans in place but they highly doubted they would need them. With all the bs and logistics involved in the SB, I cant blame them for having plans b, c, d and e.

And it doesn't matter. Any person that is necessary should be there well in advance of the game. Any fans who can't show up lose out due to their own fault. There is no reason whatsoever to consider delaying under any circumstances.

Easy for you to say.... Your not running a multi-billion dollar production.

If I was in charge of a multibillion dollar production, it would damn sure not let a little snow get in its way.

How hard is it to have everyone that matters in town well before the game? It's the god damn Super Bowl.

They play games in the snow during the regular season and the playoffs. Don't see any reason why they wouldn't play the Super Bowl in it as well.

If I was in charge of the biggest production of the year I wouldnt put where there is a even a chance a snowstorm. But risk/reward, I'm sure it will all work out.

I don't get all this talk about delaying the superbowl if it snows. Since when did football become baseball

They're preparing to play it in the snow. They just have contingencies in place for extreme circumstances.

Or put down astro turf and snow plow the ground like the Patriots did in the AFC championship game.

What's different with a snowstorm and pouring rain non-stop in a warm weather city?

Weather is football. It is a travesty that warm weather and dome teams have had such an advantage in getting the Super Bowl.

Well, life isn't always fair. Especially when money is involved.

I dont think the NFL was exactly thrilled about that either.

The Super Bowl is guaranteed to make its money. If anything they have passed up money by ignoring perfectly qualified cities to give mediocre southern cities a shot.

If there were ten feet of snow on the ground... I would bet on the Eagles winning the Superbowl AND THEY AREN'T EVEN IN IT!
