3. Fresno St. (Derek Carr)
4. Texas A&M (Johnny Manziel)
5. Northern Illinois (Jordan Lynch)

You really are making yourself look like an ignorant ass. I'd quit now if I were you.

It makes more sense to me to look at the top offenses...some of the schools with great offenses had shitty defenses. There is a LOT of DT QBs in there.

Jameis Winston plays absolutely NOTHING like VY

:L :L

:L :L :L :L :L

That doesn't mean he can't.

He is a Dual Threat QB. It's just that simple irule.

Distract from that point all you want. You only look more foolish.

Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson probably compare the best.

irule is trying to say that a true dual threat QB has the ability to run just like a running back and has a decent arm.

There's no one true definition of a dual threat. There's a grey area, but irule is just dead set on having all these specific characteristics that make up a DT. The problem is, I have yet to see him list off any real reasons. He just goes OMG YOU'RE SO DUMB AND WRONG. OMG THEY PLAY NOTHING ALIKE. OMG HE'S A PRO STYLE, DUH.

No i just think DT QBs arent capable of slinging it around in a pro-style offense

Jameis to me is a typical pro talent who happens to run well

I know this is the kiss of death for Irule but I agree with him.

I say Winston is more of a mobile QB than a dual threat. Kind of like Russell Wilson. To me, a dual threat QB throws it well enough to get by and when he runs he goes. A mobile QB in my view is a guy that can throw and run but when he is getting ready to run he is always still looking down field to throw before he crosses the LOS. Like Taylor or Young or Mariota or other guys like that. When they scramble it is run all the way. When Wilson, Winston, Hogan (Stanford) and guys like that scramble then their is always still that option of a run/pass. Winston does not turn into a RB when he is running like Young, Taylor, Miller, or Mariota do.

VY was a 65.2% passer at Texas. Is that "well enough to get by"?

A dual threat is a dual threat. They are a threat to run or pass. You have to contain them. It has nothing to do with how they are primarily being used. To be in a primarily passing offense does not nullify their dual threat capability.

And WTF is this "scramble" shit?

Drop back passers don't scramble. - bigred472
