whether he was "seen" as first round talent or not doesn't matter. Clearly, he was. Actual play matters more than draft position. Just ask Ryan Leaf.

^^^No doubt, but timing and placement have a lot to do with it sometimes. Brady goes to Cleveland or some shit like that, and no way he goes on to what he is right now IMHO. Good coaching and system, right place at the right time...next thing ya know, he's banging Giselle Bundchen.

After they just signed their QB to a multi-year, multi million dollar contract- AND when the team needs MAJOR help at just about every defensive position! SURE great idea!! Before the draft he took out a $5 mil. insurance policy if he falls out of the top 10, because of health issues.
Read where others have done this as well. Taking out the same policy that is. But none have collected on it so far. Will be interesting to see if he collects or not.

Agree. Just think he'd be dangerous lining up @ RB as well.
CBs like to cheat in short yardage situations. Pitch it to him on an option sweep , let the CB make his decision to run or pass. I believe he wins either way. Watched him for 2 yrs. He's a winner. Does what it takes to win.

I watched him play a few games. I like him as a backup, and possibly a development project. Fast kid, competitive, and finds ways to make plays with a shitty team. I didnt see we picked him up.
