hes not a dominant center- he puts up stats- but so did shareef abdul rahim.

the guy is a proven loser. over and over in his career. nothing will change this year.

You're argument is beyond lame and applies zero common sense.
And your supposed to be a lawyer?
Take James away from Love/Kyrie and arent they proven losers by your logic?

Still waiting to hear why 6 teams felt he was worth a max?

LOL overcome?

please tell me you are joking.

Shaun Livingston is a guy who has overcome astronomical odds and hardship to get to where he is after that catastrophic injury. Mathew Dellavadova- an undrafted free agent out of Australia over came great odds to become a legit role player and get a big time contract.

as for as potential and pure talent goes- Whiteside has more than a majority of the league- his problems were self-made. When you pout and have a bad attitude and dont show any kind of work ethic and act like a hot head- thats how you get sent to the dleague by the terrible Sacramento Kings and eventually blackballed by the NBA and end up playing in Libya.

Save your sympathy for guys that have actually overcome actual adversity------ not guys that were lazy pieces of shit that finally realized if i can keep it together even SLIGHTLY for a year or two ill get more guaranteed money than i know what to do with.

NOW is the real test- 90 million GUARANTEED. I CANT WAIT to see what happens this year....I have the popcorn ready! ill bet anyone here he gets suspended again FOR A THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR this year for acting a fool...any takers?

6 teams offered him the max beause of his talent

those same teams 2 years ago wouldnt touch him with a 10 foot pole if they were in full bio-warfare gear, lol.

i cant wait to see now that he has his guaranteed cash what happens- im predicting he acts a fool- and is out of the NBA by the time this contract ends. AT LEAST 1 suspension this year for fighting or some stupid shit.

ONLY player in NBA HISTORY to go from a minimum to a max in 1 season.

and the timing isnt surprising either...4th qtr...losing.....thats when this crap usually happens...when he gets frusterated, is losing, and cant control himself.

hmmmm....this year- no dwade to lead....maybe no bosh....(all though it sounds like bosh is gonna give it a try), and a whole LOT more losing...

i wonder how that is gonna work out...I have a REALLY GOOD GUESS!
